Search Engine Optimisation

Search Engine Optimisation is how we make sure your plant hire or machinery services business is visible in online searches. We start by researching the exact keywords your clients use – terms like “excavator hire [location]”, “heavy equipment sales [region]”, or “machinery servicing company” – and then build pages and content around them. By targeting those industry-specific phrases and writing detailed content (equipment lists, service descriptions, FAQs), your site will rank higher for relevant searches.

How it works

Discovery & Strategy

We start with a friendly consultation to understand your business goals, target customers, and any special needs (e.g. rental quote calculators, compliance logs or inspection forms). We audit your current site (if any) and research competitors in plant hire, equipment sales and servicing.  Then we draft a sitemap and strategy outlining the pages and keywords we’ll target.

Design & Feedback

Our designers create wireframes and mockups that highlight your brand and machinery. You’ll see layouts for equipment galleries, quote forms, service request pages, and more. We revise the designs until they match your vision and branding.

Development & SEO

Once designs are approved, our developers build the website on a scalable CMS. We integrate all features (photo galleries, quote forms, client portals) and ensure the site is secure and mobile responsive. At this stage we also implement SEO fundamentals: adding Google Analytics, setting up an XML sitemap, and configuring on page SEO elements. We test the site rigorously (on different browsers and devices) so everything from image galleries to contact forms works flawlessly.

Launch & Training

After your final approval, we deploy the site live and handle DNS/domain setup. We conduct thorough testing again. You’ll receive training on how to update equipment lists, add blog posts, or change content in the CMS. We even monitor the launch with our SEO tools. The site goes live with all the necessary SEO assets (sitemap submitted, tracking scripts live). We then provide a 28 day support period to fix any issues and fine tune settings.

Ongoing Support & Growth

After launch, we’re still here for you. We offer ongoing website maintenance and content updates (adding new machines, project stories, certifications, etc.). On the SEO side, we continue content creation (blog posts, service updates), link-building, and performance monitoring each month.  As one plan states: “we’re here if you need help down the road…add new features or refresh your content”, meaning your site evolves with your business.
